I have been in the travel industry since 2015. It's very hard for me to pick one destination that is my favourite but for some reason I've always been at peace near or in the water so I gravitate to similar destinations. I think that's one of the reasons I became a scuba diving instructor.
I love being in the travel industry because it gives me a chance to experience the world cultures and new experiences and it allows me to introduce others to their own experiences and create memories that they can treasure for a lifetime.
It's not surprising that my passion is to explore the world since I believe I must have been a gypsy in a former life as I started running away from home when I was two years old in search of the next adventure around the corner or one the other side of my neighbour's house.

Thankfully we hired Karen to assist us with our Iceland adventure. She handled our cruise and transportation. Unfortunately, we decided to handle our flights, which resulted in a less than desirable situation. In the future, as Karen as demonstrated an above standard attention to detail, we will use her to book every aspect of our trip. Karen has been really great to deal with. She has booked a number of trips for us over the last several years including a dive trip, all inclusive vacations, and most recently a cruise. She's great at understanding what we were looking for, offering options, anticipating our needs and resolving the odd issue that has cropped up. For the recent cruise she sorted out our flights, hotel & transportation to the cruise port, the cruise itself, and a great excursion the day of departure so we didn't have to sit in an airport all day waiting for an evening flight home. She even helped us get a cash claim for a canceled flight through flight disruption insurance that was part of insurance package we had purchased! Karen is already working on our next trip for us!

I had been looking online unsuccessfully to book a scuba vacation when Karen suggested I join a group trip to Bonaire she had organized. The flights , accommodations and diving package were arranged quickly without any problems. Interesting group activities such as visiting the Bonaire Coral Restoration Foundation and group dinner outings were also organized. Overall this was one of my favourite vacations and I would book a future trip with Karen at Caye Dive & Travel.

We reached out to Karen who was able to help us find a spot last minute. Best of all the place was wonderful. The Dreams Playa Mujeres Resort in Cancun was perfect for our family. We had a blast at the water park, our kids enjoyed countless days at the kids club. Every time we went to check up on them they were well looked after and were having so much fun that they didn't want to leave. This gave my wife and me a lot of time to read and relax, which was needed after the last few years. We knew that she was available should new regulations come up or cancellations. They say travel agents are a thing of the past but I must disagree. With so much uncertainty and so many options being able to rely on a trusted advisor that knows what you are looking for and saves you time and money is a must.

I just want to say Karen , our trip was awesome. Although I am disappointed with the Calgary hotel also. The $200 credit is better than $0 credit. We really really appreciate you speaking on our behalf. I don't think we would've accomplished anything on our own , dealing with this hotel. You organized a wonderful family trip for us. The other hotels were great and all the tourist attractions we visited , the scenery was beautiful & a lot of fun to do with our kids. Not sure when our next trip will be since we're not big travellers but I will be calling you to plan it for us. I'm very happy that you were recommended to me.

We had an amazing trip to France in the Fall of 2017. Karen worked with a travel agent in France and took care of all of our arrangements. Our flights , car rental and accommodations were all planned ahead of time and everything went without a hitch. We were able to sit back and focus of our personal items needed for the trip knowing that there would be no unexpected issues with accommodations or tours. We have on other occasions booked flights and trips on our own , but there is always a risk that we missed something and this is just added stress. All of our tours were booked with our specific interests in mind and the accommodations of B & B s were outstanding. I would highly recommend using Karen's travel services! Happy travelling.
